RAF LYNEHAM 80TH ANNIVERSARY SERVICE

ST MICHAEL’S CHURCH, LYNEHAM - FRIDAY 13 MAY at 1500

St Michael’s Church Lyneham is pleased to announce that a Service is to be held on Friday 13 May at 1500 to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of RAF Lyneham. The Commemorative Service was originally planned for May 2020 but was postponed because of Covid. We will also be commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the Lyneham stained glass window, unveiled by Her Majesty the Queen in 1990, as well as celebrating the unique role of RAF Padres as our Parish Priests for nearly 40 years.

This service is open to all to attend with particular encouragement to all those serving military, ex-military and civilians who have connections with the former RAF Station at Lyneham or with its current role as MoD REME.

PRE-LOVED SALE - ST. LAURENCE CHURCH, HILMARTON

SATURDAY 21 MAY 2022 11.00.a.m. – 2.00.p.m.

Please do go along and support this event as there will be Teas and Coffees, Cakes, Scones and Savouries to purchase as well of lots of stalls selling pre-loved items. There will also be a raffle.

The proceeds are in aid of the St. Laurence Church Heating fund.

FUN TRAIL FOR THE CHILDREN

Lyneham Scouts will be holding a camp display and activities and also joining us will be the members of Miss Gemma’s Dance, Natalie’s Zumba and Ballroom Dancing Classes. Great Beers from Broad Town Brewery. Hot dogs, burgers and refreshments will be available or bring your own picnic.

SUMMER FAYRE AND FUN DOG SHOW

EVERYONE WELCOME

The annual fun dog show is so much fun, with lots of rosettes to be won and the Lilly Memorial Cup is up for grabs too. Fun for all the family. craft stalls, fun stalls,

Burgers, Refreshments. Beer tent, Raffle, Skittles, Plate smash, Tin Can Alley and Welly throwing. There will be Children's and adult races. Face painting, Fancy dress competition and Tombola. Scouts, Guides and ATC will be there.

Joining us will be Little Gems Tiny feet,

The Pop Up Choir with Val.

Natalie will be showing off her Zumba class skills.
