Good morning all

A big thank you to everyone who has donated Easter Eggs for the local care homes and, like last year, we have been able to collect enough Easter Eggs for seven of our local care homes and these have now all been delivered and am sure they will certainly put a big smile on many of the resident's faces. What a great community spirit.

RAF LYNEHAM 80TH ANNIVERSARY SERVICE

ST MICHAEL’S CHURCH, LYNEHAM - FRIDAY 18 April

St Michael’s Church Lyneham is pleased to announce that a Service is to be held on Friday 13 May at 1500 to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of RAF Lyneham. The Commemorative Service was originally planned for May 2020 but was postponed because of Covid. We will also be commemorating the 30th Anniversary of the Lyneham stained glass window, unveiled by Her Majesty the Queen in 1990, as well as celebrating the unique role of RAF Padres as our Parish Priests for nearly 40 years.

This service is open to all to attend with particular encouragement to all those serving military, ex-military and civilians who have connections with the former RAF Station at Lyneham or with its current role as MoD REME.
